There is only one minor issue I have with it: Freya's wings look a bit off because they miss an outline. I don't know if you intended them to be transparent or not. I happen to know they're wings but because there is no line art on them, people who aren't familiar with the character might not recognise them as such.
That said, this deviation truly is an example of how much *just-Abigail's improved. Keep it up!
I want to comment on the colour scheme which works so beautifully together. Soft pastels like the purple, pink and blue you can't really go wrong with. Straight away you are drawn to the redness of the eyes because they're a much darker colour than what's in the rest of the piece, and I like it. That with the the strands of hair covering parts of the eyes give this piece a touch of mysteriousness.
I love how the umbrella's done: without the lineart. Really nice combination of using lineart and... well, not using lineart.
The design of the kimono itself is extremely pretty. If I saw that in a shop, I'd buy it myself!
2 minor problems I have with it: In the background I think I can see the outline of mountains. However, one of them seem to appear over the umbrella. Now, I don't know if the umbrella itself is supposed to be transparent, but it's the fact that you can see the mountain through the umbrella and not the character herself is somewhat off putting for me. The other thing the little shading. Now it's nice...but it's only in a few places and not on the hair or umbrella. I personally think you should've used shading everywhere or no shading at all.
But as I said, these are only minor. Overall, I think this is your best deviation to date. It makes me excited now to see what else you create in the future!!
