Several sketches I've done for District 9 I did today. I need to watch the rest of this filmmmmmmm~

- Big sketch of Christopher Johnson and his son, Oliver. I found Oliver quite cute...in a weird alien way.
- Coloured sketch of Wikus's transformed arm. The blue bit is his coat sleeve.
- Cat food can. Apparently it the same as catnip to the aliens. I also found out that the brand used in the film is called 'Puddi', a reference to Sylvester and Tweety from Looney Tunes.
- Head shot of Christopher. Coloured and detailed this time.
- Canister that sprays Wikus with the alien fluid.
- Close up of a prawn's eye. Pleased with this.

Thanks~ :glomp: I'm trying new brushes and this technique is quite good.
I'll probably try for a proper big picture once I have watched the film in full. The clips I saw were so epic.

Hopefully I'm getting the DVD tomorrow, along with The A Team. I'm so obsessed with District 9 now, but at least it's helped me improve my art skills, what with drawing all these prawns. :XD:

Yeah! I always get like that when I discover an awesome fandom. Though I have to admit when I was looking at t-shirts I squeed like a fangirl when I saw they had one that linked to D-9. :XD: So awesome~ [link]
